Call Meeting To Order
Chair Sheedy called the meeting to order at 7:00 PMCommission members present: Chair Sheedy, Commissioner Wagner, Commissioner Robb, Commissioner Magray, Commissioner Zastrow, Commissioner Salemi
Commission Members absent: Commissioner Thomson
Staff present: Graham Callis, Community Development Director, Abby Villars, Deputy Clerk, and Steve Dunks, Zoning Administrator (7:15p.m.)
Approve Agenda
Motion by Commissioner Zastrow approve the agenda as submitted. Second by Commissioner Wagner. Motion carried 6-0
Consent agenda
a. Approve the Minutes of the Wednesday, April 23, 2008, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting
b. Building Permit Report: April 2008
Motion by Commissioner Salemi to approve the consent agenda as submitted. Second by Commissioner Zastrow. Motion carried 6-0
Public Forum (non-agenda items): Anything, which may be brought before the Plan Commission, for which no referral shall be made or action shall be taken.
No one spoke.
Discussion/Recommendation: Preliminary plat review for Urban Edge, parcels SU-765, SU-765-1, SU-765-2, SU-765-3, SU-765-4, & part of SU-759 as prepared by Dennis Reim, Robert E Lee & Associates. Located east of Velp Avenue on the north side of Lineville Road. Zoned HWY Business w/PDD overlay.
Motion by Commissioner Zastrow to suspend the rules.
Second by Commissioner Robb
Motion carried 6-0
Richard Mayfeske- Doesn’t know what the hole is off of his property. Wants to know about a possible road going to the north of his property.
Motion by Commissioner Robb to return to regular order.
Second by Commissioner Magray.
Motion carried 6-0.
Motion by Commissioner Zastrow to recommend approval of the Preliminary County Plat for parcels SU-765, SU-765-1, SU-765-2, SU-765-3, SU-765-4, & part of SU-759, with the following conditions:
1. Change the listed zoning from "Planned Unit Development" to "Planned Commercial Development",
2. Addition of a note addressing the existence of the easements and agreements that includes the document reference number.
3. Meets the requirements of all other applicable ordinances, regulations, and reviewing agencies.
Second by Commissioner Salemi
Motion carried 6-0.
