A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE CLERK

TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF ELECTION

OFFICIALS AT ALL ELECTIONS IN THE VILLAGE OF SUAMICO

WHEREAS, the Village of Suamico is responsible for the process and integrity of all elections held in the Village of Suamico and the expense thereof; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Suamico is responsible for the selection of Election Officials and the expense thereof; and

WHEREAS, Wisconsin State Statute 7.30(1) states "There shall be 7 inspectors for each polling place at each election"; and

WHEREAS, Wisconsin State Statute 7.32(1) states "Notwithstanding s. 7.30 (1), the governing body or board of election commissioners of any municipality may, by resolution, reduce the number of election officials and modify or rescind any similar previous action. No such action may reduce the number of officials at a polling place to less than three (3).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Board of the Village of Suamico, Brown County, Wisconsin, that the Village Clerk is authorized to determine the number of election officials at all elections in the Village of Suamico.

This resolution was adopted and approved by the Suamico Village Board on this 5^th day of February, 2007.
