WHEREAS, The Village Board of the Village of Suamico, Wisconsin, has adopted the Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan to declare orderly development of local outdoor recreational facilities; and

WHEREAS, said Plan serves as an accessory and in harmony with the 2005 Village of Suamico Comprehensive Plan in conjunction with 66.1333(6)(a) of the Wisconsin State Statutes; and

WHEREAS, since its adoption it has been determined that acquisition of the future park site identified as "K. Riverside Drive River Front" in the Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan on the Village of Suamico Present & Future Park & Recreation Facilities Map would create an unnecessary financial burden for the Village; and

WHEREAS, a suitable site has been located that offers less of a financial burden to the Village of Suamico.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED; That the Board of Trustees of the Village of Suamico, Brown County, Wisconsin does hereby amend the 2006 Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan and that from this date forward said amended Plan is to be considered in the future planning and development of the Village of Suamico.
